Description
The Boardnamics M1-AT Drive is a high performance gear drive for eMTB and urban carver boards with 6″+ pneumatic tires. The drive fits the most popular trucks and hubs on the market.
Construction:
Each part is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The gearbox case and plate are anodized black for a stealth look. The helical steel gears are hobbed from a chunk of alloy steel. The wheel adapter is machined from 4mm thick 304 stainless steel.
O-Ring Bearing Seal:
A unique o-ring bearing design has less drag than V grooves found on other gear drives. The o-ring compresses when installed to seal the drive from debris. Free-roll is better than that of belts.
Quick Assembly Design:
The wheel gear and hub are shipped pre-assembled, reducing assembly time. The gear drive slides over the hanger and stays on with no set screws. No alignment adjustments needed. Quick and easy to service.
Steel Helical Gears
The MOD 1 steel helical gears are quieter than straight cuts. The gears can handle harsh riding including jumps, burnouts, and hard braking/accelerating. The gears will outlive the rest of the board.
